Paris Hilton Goes Glam at Her First Burning Man

Since she’s been a jet-setting pop culture figure for more than 15 years (and an incredibly rich person for all 35 years of her life), one would think that Paris Hilton has hit every hot spot on earth. But one place she’d never been to is the Black Rock Desert in northern Nevada for the annual Burning Man festival, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Thankfully, the hotel heiress rectified that this week.
On Tuesday, Paris went from talking about her recent trip to Ibiza to telling her 13.8 million Twitter followers that she was “excited for my first trip to the #Playa! It’s going to be #Magical!” Of course, with that kind of declaration Paris had to add opulent and magical imagery, including a shot of the desert night with the word magic emblazoned on it.

While most folks make the trek to Burning Man in an RV, Paris and her crew hopped on a private jet, of course. That’s just how she rolls. And the festivities wouldn’t be nearly as fun without her squad of wealthy friends, such as football player Shaun Phillips, restaurateur Jason Strauss, and investor Robert Zangrillo, who captioned his own jubilant preboarding pic with Paris: “Bringing a Virgin into Burning Man.”

First-timer or not, Paris knew that as soon as you get to Black Rock City (the temporary community erected for the celebration), you have to roll around in that signature dust. “This is what happens when you’re a #PlayaVirgin entering into #BurningMan for the first time. #DustAngel,” she wrote on a video of herself getting nice and dusty.

One person not featured in the tarmac pic was younger brother Barron, 27, who looks like he is feeling the Burning Man vibes too.

And as any good “Burner” knows, you must have a well-lit-up bicycle to sport with your moon boots. And shades. At night. #BurnBaby, indeed. Have fun, Paris!
